Allergy medicine is an important issue to Alex Christie
"When it comes to allergy medicine I treat all allergies and intolerances. These range from hayfever, house dust mite sensitivity, reactions to chemicals or insect stings, to the more common food intolerances and systemic candida - the underlying cause of many food sensitivities.
Allergy Consultation, Diagnosis & Treatment
An allergy test using kinesiology can be used to diagnose allergies rather than the blood test or pin-prick tests. The advantages of Kinesiology is that it can be used to diagnose allergies in a way that is painless and can be used on all ages, from infants through to the elderly. You will be tested for about 200 different substances during the consultation and you will leave knowing what is causing your reactions".
Treatment does not involve any exclusion diet, only reducing certain foods during your treatment. Desensitisation to any substance is carried out by prescribing homoeopathic potencies of the offending substances, with natural enzymes added, that should normally be present in the body and which help the desensitisation to hold.
The remedies boost your immune system and enable your body to tolerate the substances that previously caused reactions. All remedies are made by The British Institute for Allergy & Environmental Therapy, one of the leading authorities in allergy medicine treatment today.
I treat all allergies whether to pets, chemicals, pollens, metals or foods. Desensitisations to pets, foods and chemicals take on average 1 – 3 weeks to clear. i.e. woman who had been sick ever since her house had been decorated – she became sensitized to the chemicals in paints – was fully recovered in 4 weeks and saw me for only 2 consultations.
Testing rates
Allergy testing costs £75. Subsequent consultations last between 45 minutes and 1 hour according to the individual's personal requirements.
Consultation Rates
I charge £75 per hour. The initial consultation is usually one hour, if necessary we will take 1 hour 15 minutes if complex health issues present and there is time. Follow-up consultations last typically 45 minutes to one hour, depending on your health needs, and cost between £60 and £75 accordingly.
Typically 2-3 appointments at about 6 week intervals are all that are needed to clear all your intolerances. Herbal support may be recommended.
Cost of Remedies
Since patients require varying amounts of remedies these are paid for separately and cost mostly £7.50 each including desensitisation remedies.
