How to benefit from using the Sedona Method®
By Alex Christie (BA Hons, LCHE, MARH, B.Inst.A.T.)
The Sedona Method® differs in several ways from most other self-development approaches being taught today: Since the Sedona Method® takes you to the very root of your negative thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behaviour, allowing you to let these go from this deeper level, you will find the method a far more effective way to achieve what you want in life than just affirmations, goal-setting, or positive thinking. It is a fast-track method for emotional intelligence.
The Sedona Method® can take you to the same peaceful state that meditation does although it is an “eyes open” method that you can use any place, any time. You do not need to withdraw from the world and find a quiet place to do it. You can use the Sedona Method® whatever you are doing, wherever you are, whenever you need it.
No complicated or highly imaginative visualisation is necessary when you use the Sedona Method®. The Sedona approach is simple, yet the possibilities for using it are endless. You can learn some of the most powerful applications of the Sedona Method® both on the seminar or in one-to-one sessions with a qualified instructor.
With the Sedona Method®, unlike in therapy, you do not have to intellectually understand, remember or re-experience the cause of your emotions and beliefs to be free of them. You can simply feel your reaction to a situation past or present, and let it go. As you use the method you discover that it really is this easy.
Both during the Sedona Method® seminars and in one-to-one sessions there is no need to share anything of a personal nature or divulge what area of your life you wish to address. You simply decide what it is you would like to improve, and you work with this internally, releasing any negative emotions or beliefs that arise as you view this situation from within.
Once you have learned the Sedona Method® you can do-it-yourself. You do not need to join any group or depend on anyone, although support is always freely available.
The results increase over time. The more you use the Sedona Method®, the more you benefit from it. Releasing negative emotions and thoughts as they arise can become as natural to you as suppressing these used to be for you. Each time you use the Sedona Method® to release, you become lighter, happier, and calmer. The more you use the method the more your emotional intelligence and emotional mastery increase. As you feel more relaxed with your own emotional responses, so you become more at ease with others. As you relax, so the people you are in contact with relax around you.
Many report being able to rediscover enjoyment in what they do and finding freedom from the negative emotions that previously caused them stress. As you begin to use the Sedona Method® you will watch yourself dissolve chronic emotional pain and patterns you may have carried with you for your entire life. You will feel as if burdens are being lifted. You will feel liberated, as if you were coming back to life. Things will start to make sense, and you will finally start to feel really in control and happy to be alive.
